Planning: Band Shots - Location

Below, are potential locations for filming our band shots. From previous attempts at filming, we had learnt that the set/setting was an integral aspect of the mise-en-scene; our previous footage was ruined by poor set/setting choice - the drama studio and sports hall were deemed to unconventional for a band of the rock-music genre. We therefore decided to look at other locations that will represent this genre more effectively.

Planning: Drafting Ancillary

Above, is a brief video that shows me flicking through my folder that houses many of my drafts for the ancillary task - I wanted  to use 'new technologies' through the process and felt a video would perhaps be more interesting media platform than simply pasting the images onto my blog.

Development: Making our Second Attempt at Filming the Narrative

 Above, I have posted a Video Blog that shows the journey that we made to film our second attempt at filming the narrative. This includes how we made certain aspects of the footage as well as a few interviews with the members of the group to discuss how the day of filming went.

Our Catalogued 'Rush'

Below is the 'rush' for our shots that we filmed for our narrative. When filming, the best technique is to film more than less - you can always discard footage that isn't needed; this meant we were left with lengthy clips that needed to be edited and shortened to show the exact shots that we wanted to use; this 'rush' provides the edited footage grouped together in one video showing us a collection of all our shots available to use in our final product.
